Main Street Square of Royal Oak

A Brief History of Main Street Square

Construction of Main Street Square began in May, 1993 by Crosswinds Communities. By February, 1995 our 3.5-acre site was fully transformed from 20 houses into the community it is today. The Main Street Square project was sold out long before completion. Subsequently, the units have always experienced incredible demand, as they not only are one of the finest places to live in Royal Oak for those who enjoy the ease of condominium living; they are arguably in the very best location in metro Detroit. Wildly popular, Main Street Square is responsible for ushering in metro Detroit's vogue for townhouse living. The 124 condominiums have one of three different floorplans ranging from 800 - 1,150 square feet, with two private parking spaces per unit. Crosswinds built the units extremely well, they did a fantastic job designing the floorplans, and the Association has maintained them exceedingly well over the years.
